HISTORY EXPEDITIONS
Exploring the date-stamped Havana and neighboring areas is intriguing and offers a unique variety of places and activities. On any Havana expedition, we cater the itinerary to suit your specific requests for days and attractions. Cojímar, a small fishing village located in the eastern part of Havana, provides a base for our expeditions that offers interaction with the locals, restaurants within walking distance, and quiet nights rest. As you will see, we make the most of time and visit many must-be-seen places as well as those off-the-beaten-path locations. Contact us and we can discuss modifications and additions such as a baseball game, an evening at the Ballet in the National Theatre, or a night at the famous Tropicana.
Lodging: We have options for lodging for History Expeditions including our comfortable and secure Bed and Breakfast location in Cojimar with an amazing patio and beautiful sunrises. We also have a Bed and Breakfast in Vedado with a jacuzzi, roofed patio, and a restaurant on the ground floor. We can also make reservations at hotels, pending availability. Our preference and honest recommendation - stay at the B&Bs, experience Cuba the way that Cubans do, and interact with the owners of these growing entrepreneurial initiatives. Meet our trustworthy Cuban friends and take advantage of the opportunities to talk with them.
Pricing: This depends on many factors including length of stay, the itinerary, and the number of travelers in your group. That said, not including airfare, prices will be around $3000.00 pp including everything (meals, museum entrances, guides, drivers, etc.). Not included: Gratuity for guides/maids/drivers, night-time drinks, late night transportation (we will arrange it and accompany you). Each itinerary is different and has unique requests, we will design it for you and with you.
